Burnt Basque cheesecake. The recipe for one of the most popular desserts

How to bake a delicious Basque burnt cheesecake

Turn the oven to 215 degrees Celsius.

Use with 24 cm diameter movable walls for round baking. We grease the base of the horse and the side walls with butter. Cut a circle 24 cm in diameter from the baking paper. Cut a layer of baking paper the size of the side walls of the mold. Place the two baking slices, the frame at the base և the layer on the sides. Press them so that they stick evenly to the tray.

Now you can pour the cheesecake mixture into the pan and flatten the surface nicely. Gently tap the tray on the desktop to remove air bubbles from the composition.

Bake the delicious cheesecake for 30 minutes at a temperature of 215 degrees Celsius.

After baking, the cheesecake should be very caramelized from the outside, it should develop like souffle. Remove the pan from the grill and leave it to cool in the pan for 30 minutes.

Then remove the side walls of the baking egg. The cake will sink a little in the middle, but do not be patient. This is its traditional side.

Allow the cheesecake to cool for at least 1 hour before serving. Do not cool too much so that the cream cheese does not harden. It is delicious while still being creamy.

You can decorate the cheesecake with berries and powdered sugar. You can enjoy it glazed with fruit jam.

If I persuaded you to make this wonderful Basque burnt cheesecake recipe from Spanish cuisine, you can even make it as Easter without the dough.
